I'm the opposite Gudrun, I waste paper and paint or ink, it's no big issue. Lovely lively piece once again, did you ever buy that little press I talked about in my piece or are these all hand pulled?.

Thank you for your kind comments. I hand roller all of my monotypes. I would need a really large press for 50x70cm paper. Also, there is more flexibility in where I place the paper after I have painted the image. I have another large one in mind in due course. We'll see if I pull it off. The reference is better than the one I used for this. It was small and it was it's a challenge to scale up by eye.

The dancers fill the square beautifully Gudrun. I hate to waste too, so expensive.

Excellent poses Gudrun

Love those figures Gudrun!

Gudrun, this has turned out nice and very dynamic. I paint on both sides of my papers, and often crop out the bit that looks decent. At times I only use a small corner of it, then move onto the next paper. And most things that come out ok, I paint on cheap or substandard paper! Just this year I chucked out about 2 black bags full of my old paintings, now I wish I had kept some of them!

Lovely movement, Gurdrun. I don't bin my old paintings any more, I cut them up and use them to test colours before applying it to my paintings. In the past I must have binned loads!

Very lively poses and nicely depicted movement, Gudrun.

So full of life and movement, Gudrun. Beautiful.

Some more thanks for your kind comments and encouragement. Much appreciated.

Bigger paper: 50x70cm. Image about 40x50. Difficult to scale up and the image itself is square really so I won't beat myself up about not using all of the paper. Like with paint, I hate to waste paper!!
