1st attempt at a landscape with pastels - based on article in LP magazine. My current palette of pastel colours is mainly aimed at portraits, so I had a little difficulty getting the colours I wanted. Also, in the original, the background paper does not show as much as it does in the photo :-( I must try harder next time.

I started attending a weekly Watercolour workshop after retiring in December 2014. I also enjoy working with graphite pencils, sometimes supplemented with watercolour pencils. I also use charcoal, pastels, Inktense, pen & ink, and coloured pencils.
