Oh no, I wanted to know! But what an unusual but very interesting picture - I say picture because I'm not sure if it has any washes. Malcolm, it's excellent.

Someone suggested that there was an Edgar Allen Poe connection in that he wrote about a Raven and would have used a writing desk. My nephew gave the answer that he gives to his son when asked a difficult question, "Because 'Why' isn't a zebra"... No, it makes no sense to me either but I think that that is supposed to be the point.

Why is a raven like a writing desk? I didn't know, so I drew one... I am still no wiser.
