Yes it is a different style but as usual up to a high standard, good for you in trying something a little different.

This is wonderful and I love the new style. It is accurate but impressionistic which works a treat with your subject. Super paint handling (which is the bit I always look for and admire in a painting) and lovely palette. A real winner!

No wonder it sold ! A really lovely watercolour, it would be good to see some more in this style.

Not surprised that you sold it, it is beautiful, great palette colour and up to your high standards

Graham I really like this alot. Full of lovely details and beautiful colours.

I really do like this - there are several touches which are really different and make this such a great painting.

Super patchwork of cottages, and lovely use of colour. What a beautiful location.

Painted this some time ago when I wanted to try something a bit away from my usual traditional landscapes although it is based on one of my favourite places to visit and paint around crail harbour in the east neuk of fife, all a bit representational but anyway it did sell when I exhibited the piece so I might just try more along this style.
