I really like your impressionist style of painting - could you tell me do you use small brush strokes, almost dots to achieve that effect.

Thank you for your kind words! I use a lot of small dabs built up over time (sometimes allowing a day or two for the underlying layer to dry). I also use a mixture of large and small brushes to get this effect. Happy new year.

This is the view from within Strawberry Fields where John Lennon used to play as a child. When he was growing up it was an orphanage owned by the Salvation Army. It still is today although the original building has now gone. Standing there reminded me of all the upbeat and happy Beatles songs hence the bright colours.
