The devil's own job, isn't it? I think I would have fiddled with this until I lost the plot, because you have very bravely left your violet and blue washes to speak for themselves; the huge temptation would have been to add just a touch of reflection there, just a sparkle here, until you were reduced to attacking the surface with a craft-knife to restore the light you'd taken out of it. I've done exactly that ... I think this works well, as indeed do your other paintings, because of your clean washes - and the way you place and control them.

Agree with the above - and the floating leaf draws you into the painting.
