Unusual perspective, makes it interesting and it works very well. I like the gentle palette.

Fantastic expansive view, and beautiful light.

What an achievement this is. A linear beach and a striking road all the wrong ingredients and you have contrived a superb picture cleverly breaking it up with lateral shadows & light. Just great!

Thanks for the great comments.i painted this picture from the footpath that runs up around the headland on a lovely day at Torcross.

I recognise it well - Slapton Sands (the beach) and Slapton Ley, the salt marsh which is a popular birdspotting area. Very well painted, with subtle colours. Well done Graham.
