I love this - but can I ask if you have been on a Judi Whitton course? I recognise the style I believe.

Sorry, didn't see your reply until now!! Bit late I know. Yes - I went on the one in Minchinhampton - sorry can't remember the date. It was the one with the two American ladies who hadn't painted before and a chap who was a planning inspector - that wasn't you, was it? I am dreadful with names. I went with my friend Julia. I see the Judi influence in this painting, but less so in your others. Love your other work. I will check this post for a reply from you.

What a small world. I think we had a very good meal together at Egypt Mill if I remember correctly. I admired your painting so much on that course - in fact you were so good it almost demoralised me!! I have gone on to move away from Judi Whitton's style to develop a more finished style, still with colour and paint mixing on the paper, etc. Have you been on any of Judi W's courses again?
