Very well done. A lovely painting. I have problems with this paper, but you seem to get on with it really well.

Hi Judith, yes this paper has a very fine tooth so you do need to be fairly gentle with the first layers of pastel so as not to fill the tooth too soon. I normally use Hahnemuehle Lana Colours which is the same weight but more tooth but I was given a pad of this so gave it a try.

Beautiful, peaceful mood achieved Graham. Lovely palette too.

Thought this was a wet in wet watercolour at first, very much has that soft, dreamy quality to it, nice work Graham, must have a go, I've neglected my pastels for ages.
