Agree with all the above - I have discovered I really hate pastel, and so much admire those who excel in it. This is a magnificent picture, even a noble picture, not least because you've kept it simple. The colour is beautiful, the drawing absolutely assured. I seethe in envy...

I simply cannot do landscapes in pastel; animals are fine but this smooth flwoing style eludes me. A lovely picture which really captures the atmosphere. Wonderful limestone wall just detailing the foreground.
