I have an innate love for wild dogs (in fact dogs in general). They are affectionately called 'Painted Dogs'. I selected my reference image for this painting as this particular dog ‘stared’ piercingly, straight at me. This work has been created specifically for my 2024 Art for Conservation auction in Cape Town, on 27th September. May it create some value in conserving these enigmatic creatures.
