Looks beautiful to me, Glennis. A pitty: on my computer, the picture is not very sharp, so the light and shadow of the raindrops are probably better than I can see! Anyway: lovely composition and shape of the flower. Love the leaves too.

Mia, Seok, Petra, Michael - thank you for your very kind comments Michael, it was painted on Fabriano hot pressed - but I put a wash over the whole area except the flower,of a mixture of greens start off with Sap green and then add bits of other colours to it to get the wash I wanted, I wanted a dull green so as to make the flower stand out more. It was a very pale wash, then I cut the other green leaves into it.
