Nothing wrong with a little colour, Glennis, the bird is very well drawn as usual (I have always found the gentle curves of birds really hard to draw), I also like the texture on the tree.

I love your bird drawings Glennis- there is no end to your talent. My three favourite birds are -Goldcrest, Nuthatch and Long tailed tit. Any chance of a picture of the long tailed tit?

This is stunning, Glennis! The color is certainly very attractive and is not at all out of place, and the composition and drawing itself is superb.

Thank you all for your comments. Carol I am sure a long tailed tit will appear at some stage, we have had them in the garden this spring/summer and they are indeed a lovely bird.

Coloured pencil again, thought I would bring a bit of colour into the collection, but think it will stand out too much now. I enjoyed rendering the blues. Perhaps the colour of a chaffinch will be more subtle!
