An impressive gallery Glennis, I particularly like your bird paintings.

I didn't notice the beak when I first looked at it and it was only your comment that brought it to my attention so wouldn't worry too much - it's still a great study

You are very good at birds. Not easy to do with all those feathers! Sweet study of a pretty little bird. Wouldn't know about the beak as definitely not a bird watcher.

A perky little wren, good work with your birdies.

Thank you all for your comments. I do love the birds and welcome them at all times of the year in the garden. We are forrtunate to have Slimbridge Wetland Trust nearby which is always a good place to go.

A charming little wren beautifully drawn in coloured pencil.

Perky little fellow--- well painted-- Ilike it

Another stunning little fellow Glennis......great detail.

Val, Fiona and Charles many thanks for your comments. I use Faber Castell polychromos pencils with some Prismacolor pencils included although these tend to be softer and the point breaks more often.

Another wonderful painting in your bird series, Glennis. The lines on the bird really move the eye around and keep the viewer's attention. It's so very well done

I think the beak is too long in this one, will have to re-do it. colour pencil on Fabriano watercolour paper.
