Is Holly another Flat-Coat, albeit a rather shaggy one? She looks very like one of my first F-C's (also called Holly) as she had a longer coat than normal. Anyway - lovely portrait - you have such a knack of capturing a dog's pose and attitude of body that all us dog owners out there instantly recognise.

Petra and Thea thank you for your comments. Holly is a spaniel of sorts - not sure which breed but has very long ears. Lovely nature and always gives us a wecome when we arrive and during our stay helps our dog Tigger to eat his meals!
