Are you saying you have never painted a dog? If so I am amazed. This is brilliant. I have took on the task of painting my brothers Bijon Frise. I have done the pencil sketch but don't know where to start with the paint. I am inspired by this lovely painting. Well done

I have painted dogs but not this particular breed. Thank you for your comments and best of luck with your painting. I am not familiar with the breed you are to paint so will look it up. I have amended the text on my picture.

I admire your work and especially love the animal and bird paintings. You seem to capture the individuality of each creature and the fact that they are in watercolour is amazing as you manage to control the paint so well!

Hi Glennis, love the expression that you've captured so well, I paint animals too, mainly dogs and cats but not in watercolour - this painting makes watercolour look so effortless which most of us know isn't the case.
