This is super, Glennis, beautiful bright colours. I never used hot pressed paper, is there a great difference? Also many congratulations for being selected in the latest POL-newsletter with your "Spring Buzz". It was indeed something very special.

Thank you Mia, have been away for a few days so having to catch up. I was very pleased to have one of my paintings selected in the newsletter. Hot pressed is very smooth, i use it also for coloured pencil drawings. Washes can be difficult but if the paper is wet first (only in small areas at a time for the detail in flowers) I much prefer it, somehow the flowers appear fresher. Thank you once again for your comments on my paintings it is very much appreciated.

Lovely well painted pansies Glennis, and my favourite colours!

What wonderful colours and such cheerful flowers. Super variation in tone in the petals.

very pretty colours Glennis, I love these pansies.

Super colours, and perfectly painted faces on your pansies.

I love this Glennis - a really attractive painting. Beautiful colours. Pansies always remind me of my grandmother and I grow them for at reason.

Still never used hot pressed - must buy some - great study Glennis

Lovely painting. You have captured the very essence of the pansy. I, too, prefer hot pressed paper, i find it very difficult to get the detail I want on NOT. However I can never get the wonderful colour variations I see on the beautiful backgrounds washes you do.

Beautiful flowers Glennis, great colours

A fabulous, fabulous piece, Glennis!

Thank you all very much for your comments
