Not been logged in for a while so I've missed some of your lovely paintings. I just had to leave my comment on this one though as I really admire the way you have painted the leaves of this sunny primrose, not the easiest of leaves to paint as I know to my cost:)

Thank you all for the comments. Val, I put a light wash over the leaves first, then paint in the pattern with a darker green and then wash over them at the end with a green with hint of yellow.
