It has worked really well Glennis.

As Sylvia has said, it works and it was worth the effort. It has also cheered me up. I have spent the last couple of days attempting to do sunsets and failing miserably. My latest two were horrible!

Aaaaaw, that cute bunny again. Super pencil work Glennis, such realistic fur I want to stroke it.

Being the son of a rabbit breeder (blue, brown and black siberians) this had to appeal - super work

Glennis, you always hit a soft spot with your subjects.......very cute!

works for me, Glennis, he is lovely - eyes, nose, ears & fur

Beautifully painted and highly appreciated by my grand daughter and myself ! We love all your animals.

Thank you all so much for your comments

Wow! This is beautiful! It is not a technique I have ever tried, but it works so well. The eyes are so full of life!

Aaah he is GORGEOUS!! And very well drawn. My bunny has just had four beautiful babies and I tried to draw them. NOT EASY . . . I identify with your saying it takes ages and then I wasn't happy with the result so be VERY proud of this. It is great. Jx

Christine and Jean many thanks for taking the time to have a look at my drawing and commenting

I think it works even better in pencils as you can get that real fine detail of the fur. I bet your grandson is enchanted by it.

Dry watercolour pencil on pastel paper. These drawings take a long time to achieve the realistic look I like, consequently not many postings of late. I have posted this painting before done in oils for my grandson, wanted to try it in pencils.
