He just makes me smile.... full of life..a happy painting.

Had to log in to leave a word about this little beauty. You are so good with coloured pencils! great drawing Glennis.

Me too ! This is absolutely lovely Glennis

Well done Glennis. He's soooo beautiful; the colours and feathers are perfect. And his attitude !

Glennis this is perfect :-) I cannot draw Robins. Your fur technique is superb :-)

Wonderful! I just love the youthful fluffiness of this little robin. Perhaps a contender for the Christmas Card Competition?

He's so cute, reminds me of a bad hair day :) A superb drawing Glennis, his feathers are super.

Beautiful work with coloured pencils Glennis. The feathering is particularly well drawn and the head cocked to one side is so typical. A delightful little portrait.

Glennis, I've got one that looks just like this in the garden at the moment. You've made a fabulous job of his 'un-made bed look'.

He is gorgeous !

A perfect pencil portrait Glennis..;-)

This is really, really gorgeous, Glennis! You've captured the soft, fluffy form of the robin beautifully and I love your palette!

Such a little character. Beautifully worked .

He is sooo cuuute!! A perfect little garden friend, beautifully drawn and coloured. Well done Glennis!

charming work Glennis, so cute and alert and the feathers are beautifully done

Many thanks for your comments, much appreciated. This charming little fella was at a tea shop near Allerton, Somerset in 2011 hoping for crumbs (which he did have), he was a little ruffled a young fledgling.

He is so cute! I like how the feathers are all roughed up and how curious he seems to be. Gorgeous portrait of a robin!

Gudrun and Jenny - many thanks for your kind comments

I love this little bedraggled robin! All your drawings (and paintings) are beautiful and show a great sensitivity.

I love the fine detail and having watched baby robins growing up this summer whilst working, it really makes me chuckle to look at your picture.

JAckie and Christine many thanks for your comments
