Thank you all for your kind comments. Julie, the answer is no, our rough collie is a Tri-colour, there are a few paintings of him in my gallery, his colours are black, tan and white, mainly black, He is getting old now, 14 so his coat isn't as good as when he was younger.

Julie have just looked at my galley this year and the paintings of our dog are in last years gallery, I haven't done one this year, my husband will be after me to paint one!

Whilst visiting our friends in Bochum, Germany a couple of weeks ago, my husband was missing our Rough Collie in kennels, he went for a walk and came back in asking me to take a look. Opposite the house was this Sable Rough Collie named Benny sunning himself. A photograph was taken and this is my painting in pastel on pastelmat card.
