I think this is lovely Glennis - not wishy-washy at all. My only slight criticism might be the rocks in the foreground?

Lovely portrayal of distance, a delicate and atmospheric painting Glennis.

Lovely painting Glennis, I like the misty athmosphere

A real lsson in simple washes - nice one Glennis

Beautiful Glennis, not wishy washy at all. Gentle and misty, is what it is!

Nice feeling of light in this one Glennis.

Very atmospheric, Glennis - this is beautiful.

Can you point me in the direction of where you painted that Glennis I could do with a bit of R and R. Lovely work.

Thank you all for your comments. Carol Anne - it was based on Soudley Ponds in the Forest of Dean (I have posted a photo on the free photo's of this area) but I also used a bit of my imagination too. It is usually quiet like this when we take the dog around this beautiful area.

This is very atmospheric, Glennis and I love the delicate, subtle colours you used. Well done!

So misty and atmospheric, lovely washes.

this is lovely Glennis very serene.

Thankyou Glennis a short drive down the M4 and I'm there.

Mia, Val and Denise thank you for your comments. Carol Anne - I hope you won't be disappointed. There are a lot of beauty spots within the Forest of Dean, The Speech House is an excellent venue for lunch, it has a lot of history.

Dabble on, Glennis! This is lovely - wonderful light and atmosphere. Super!

A lovely misty effect very well captured Glennis.

I missed this one - I suppose it's all right to go back - it's lovely.

Saunders Waterford Paper - still dabbling, I will have to put the colours more strongly at the beginning of the painting, always turns out a bit wishy washy.
