Very delicately painted, I like the soft washes on the background Glennis.

Thanks Carole, as you know I am not a landscape painter but liked this scene when I saw it, so my version of it. It is a lot harder than painting flowers or animals!

Hi Glennis its lovely work and although you don't paint landscape you certainly could be very good you have very good skills . well done Glennis lovely work .

Amazing and gorgeous painting Glennis, Love your work :)

Lovely techniques Glennis is there anything you can't make beautiful

A good atmosphere to this painting, I love the contrast between the warm and cool palette Glennis.

Good to see you having a crack at landscape as well as the other subjects you paint so well, and I would certainly encourage you to do more having seen this one: love those trees, delicate branches and leaves, variety of colour employed .... technically speaking, as it were, I particularly like the treatment of the foliage at the left of the painting: it would have been so easy to have lost focus there, with the darker tones, but you remained in control.

I like this more every time I look at it.

Lovely work in this Glennis. Super textures.

Lovely and delicate painting, Glennis.

Lovely lights shining through this Glennis!

Glennis, a landscape!!! You said you couldn't do landscapes.....oh yes you can! It's beautiful, love the mist effect and the light.

Thank you all for your very kind comments and encouragement

So good to see people trying different subjects and media. It encourages the others to do the same. Your woodland walk is a fantastic sample, Glennis. Out of your comfort zone but with a beautiful result.

You have a lovely delicate touch Glennis and I agree with the others when they say you should do more of these.

You should do more of these Glennis , it's a lovely piece of work
