I looked up Jamie Boots. Amazing work. However, there is not much wrong with this either! This has a softer feel and am I right in thinking you like detail? Splendid!

Brilliant, right down to the curly hairs. Do you remember that clot of a critic who said on some silly arty programme or other, &quot;real artists don&#39;t paint elephants?&quot;. Real artists don&#39;t paint elephants badly, perhaps ... but that&#39;s true of anything.

This is a wonderful drawing, Glennis! So much work in this! I adore his eye, even though he looks so sad. He really exudes such emotion that I want to protect him from harm. Have you read &#39;Elephant Whispers&#39; by any chance? This makes me think of that book, which is a true story.
