I like this Ginette , and like it even more without the sky portion included , cutting off at the V of the two main trees - just my preference

Thank you for these comments - do you know I nearly did cut it in half - even further down about halfway through the pollarded willow. I might still do it!

cover the area you are thinking of removing and live with it for a while to make sure - think twice , cut once - to paraphrase "measure twice cut once"

Lovely... you can smell the rain...I won't sit on the grass yet then!
