Don't know how I missed this one, love everything about this painting, especially the background, the bee and the flowers are beautifully painted, but its the background that sets them off.

This gorgeous bumblebee was photographed in my back garden, then exagerrated slightly for effect, back in the studio, using negative painting and wet-in-wet watercolour techniques.
