Wonderful drawing. I love the way you have left it very simple, with no background distraction.

You have added a lovely gallery. Are these all from your own observations? photographs? or where is your source material from. If from your own material they are amazing, if not...........???? Though I have enjoyed looking at them. May I also re iterate an earlier comment, re posting en masse. People get a bit cross when their paintings are on the gallery for a very short time, and some one shoves them all off. If you just posted one and then maybe another one a few hours later it is more courteous. Also your own pictures are seen and enjoyed as they should be.

Fantastic drawing, beautifully done. Lovely gallery too. I love Tilly.

This is so convincing, I can imagine you having to run as soon as you took the photo.

Many thanks to you all for your encouraging comments. I am sorry Sylvia that I seem to have upset you regarding uploading too many pictures at once. I certainly do not want to upset anybody and I notice that other people have also received similar comments. It is not clear from the site that when pictures are uploaded they go straight to the front page. I did not realise this until I came out of my gallery. As it does not seem to be only me who has been "guilty" of this I have e-mailed the editor suggesting that perhaps this needs to be made clearer. Now that is out of the way!! Thank you for your positive comments. All the pictures I paint or draw are from my own material - sketches/photographs. The animals I draw are either those I have sketched or photographed on wildlife watching holidays, as is the polar bear and tiger, or from the zoo, as in the snow leopard and hunting dog. I always use my own photos as this saves infringing copyright and getting into any more trouble!!

Hi Gillian. Thank you for taking my comments on board, I agree it is not clear and unless the comments are made, people really do not know. I was just as guilty in the early days. It should be more apparent. I think your pictures are super and especially as they are from your own source. So many people copy and I hate this. I am of on an art safari very soon ( my fourth) so I know how difficult it is. If you join the forum, you can post your pics with an invitation to view, that way you can take your time and people have more opportunities to see and enjoy them...... Cheers S.

Thanks for lovely comment on my Namibia dune.... yes I am back to Africa, I so enjoy it. I go with an art group and it is just so lovely. Do join the forum It is a better way to comunicate. I also take trips to the zoo as I also love to paint animals... prefer them in their own envioriment but that is how it is. Yours are just so detailed and yet so simple. Mine usually are very minimalist and caught on the hoof or paw.
