Good colours and nice combination of pastel and watercolour

This has a lovely atmosphere, feels like you are walking along the path

Lovely colourful work George, I always overdo it if I add pastel to a watercolour but here you have used restraint, adding to the piece.

Another super painting, George. The w/c & pastel mix really works.

Beautiful painting George, lovely colours, the watercolour/pastel combination is very effective. (It's hard to tell from this, how much pastel have you used?)

Thanks everyone for your comments, as usual they are much appreciated. In answer to Jenny's question, I suppose there is roughly about 50@50 pastel to watercolour on this one . Really not much in the background and hopefully just enough in the main subject and the foreground to add something to the original watercolour. The watercolours I have worked over so far have varied in the amount of Pastel needed. The actual roughness of the paper stops me adding to much Pastel I think.

Love this one George, every thing about it is just right

Lovely depth in your tones George, very successful.

Very lovely piece George.

Thank you Maureen, Dennis and Fiona, I am enjoying going over these watercolours with pastel, I used nothing but soft Pastel for thirty years and I thought I had done with them, but I'm beginning to think that I might enjoy them again. Thank you all once again.

Beautiful scene and colours, George.

Thank you very much Cesare, much appreciated
