Beautiful painting George I wish I could paint as good as you. Terrific

I like the greys and greens in this which bring everything together. That touch of red springs out as the eye travels round, it's a lovely little scene. I can't help wonder what is underneath.

Thank you Dennis and Marjorie,. Marjorie, this was an old watercolour painting of mine done several years ago which I have just painted over with stronger colours and added some line to. And Dennis your paintings inspire me.

Brilliant George, was the underpainting the same subject?

Same subject Derek just added to and enhanced the colours and the wall details.

That's a great idea George, it has turned out very well. I might have a rumage through some of mine.

Pretty little scene George. I did the same with one of my paintings that I painted a decade or so ago; after using student quality paint, the reds had faded, so re-applied with professional colours.
