Acrylic on MDF - 60 x 90cm. This was a painting that I originally completed in January 2019 but was never quite happy with and so it had been lying around my workspace ever since. Picked it up the other week and decided it warranted a bit of a rework. I find that coming back to a piece with fresh eyes after a lengthy break often enables me to see more clearly how to resolve a problem that I couldn’t quite get to grips with before. Doesn’t always work.
