Superb as ever, George.

I always like your sketches

Gorgeous Penwork 😍

Great sketching.

This is the sort of pen and ink work I like - very tight, detailed drawings are fine, you can admire the skill (if not emulate it) but you take a painterly approach to the pen, which I much prefer - you could easily make a painting, watercolour, acrylic or oil, out of this, whereas tight line work is great for added washes to make a stand-alone work. You could certainly do that with this, as well, but if I'd done it I'd be looking to develop it into a painting, while enjoying the fact that one could put a frame around it and call it done. I hope that makes SOME sense, it's hard to explain what I really mean. It has further possibilities, basically, if that's any more rational...

Lovely pen work George. I agree Robert, pen gives one many possibilities.

Captured the feeling of dense woodland opening up. Nicely done, George.

Thank You all very much for your comments. I understand what you say and agree with you entirely Robert. This sketchy sort of representation of a scene is usualy my way of working towards a future painting although I sometimes (not always) think I like them more than my more detailed pen and ink drawings.

Such detail George; a lovely fude pen sketch! I love using a fude pen myself.

Many thanks Karen.
