Commission painting landscape of one of the oldest houses in Woburn. The spirit of this house is magnificent. I did a few photo sessions to see how the light relates to its location as well as the specific colour values at sunset and sunrise. Eventually, I created this dramatic feel and the composition to give depth and of course, focus on the house. The painting is in oils on linen, 14x18in and took 3 sessions by 5 hrs
