Pastel on canvas board 10x8". I used a shop bought canvas board covered in various shades of blue acrylic and covered it in a coat of Golden Pastel Ground. First time I have used this product from Golden and I was very happy with it. On top of canvas it took away some but not all of the grain and left a good surface for both ahrd and soft pastels. The view is a simplified and loose version of the waterwheel as seen from the Charles Bridge in Prague.

Gary Austin
I am an amateur artist and work in various media but favour acrylics, pastels and coloured pencils. I work full time as a Chartered Engineer and art is my relaxation. I am a member of the Codnor Art Club which was formed in mid 2014 when our adult education class closed after our teacher retired.
