Lovely sketch, great colour in the water and interesting to read how you did it, the graphite has worked excellently in the sky for you and for rendering the water

Derwent XL Graphite and Graphitint Pencils on Bristol paper, A4. This is the preliminary sketch I did for the painting of the same title in my acrylics gallery. This was good opportunity to try out the Derwent XL graphite and I found it a pleaseure to work with on the smooth Bristol surface. The sky was done by blending with a finger as was the water. Detail was added ith graphitint pencils.
