Great pics. I think that I have seen this boat recently. There are loads beached just past Pin, Mill. Like an elephants graveyard of boats. Very evocative work.

I don't think there's any problem with your sky - the secondary boat on the right sort of worries me: I'm not a great painter of boats, hardly ever do it, so I'm not sure what I think's wrong with it ... helpful, eh? Perhaps the proportion is a bit off; or maybe it just distracts... Like your main boat though, and feel sorry for it.

You really are very clever with colours the water is brilliant. I see what Robert means about the other boat though, needs to be dulled down a bit as the near side should be in the shadow and a shadow/ reflection in the water - other wise ~Brilliant!

Acrylic on canvas 20x20". From a photo taken many years ago on holiday in Suffolk. This abandoned boat was beached at Orford and may still be there. I don't think I got the sky right in this one and possibly not the secondary boats either. The main boat I am happy with though!
