i have some of those tinted charcoals too :-) i have been pout off because i cant find a decent non harmful, non dulling fixative :-) you have done excellently with them considering you were not keen on them at first, i had thought at first this was a painting before looking closer :-) it is excellent :-)

Derwent Tinted Charcoal on Canson Mi-Tientes paper, 9x12". From a photo taken on holiday last year when we stayed at Budle Bay in Northumberland. Thisis the first decent picture I have done using the tinted charcoal pencils. I have found them quite limiting when used in isolation as there is a lack of decent blues but when mixed with pastels or watercolour they are quite useful.
