Very nice picture Gary,not sure what type of owl. I like the Prismacolour too when I get around to using them.

Lovely Owl Gary, never prismacolour, they like pastel pencils? I .like the inktense i only bought because they were being sold off cheaply in a local craft shop and have turned out to be really good

Prismacolor pencils on A3 Pink Pig Cartridge Paper. This is the biggest and most ambitious drawing I have done in coloured pencils to date and I am quite pleased with the result. It was a real please to use the soft Prismacolor pencils, it made such a difference to be able to blend and burnish easily. Not too sure what type of owl it is though. I took the reference photo some years ago at a Derbyshire wildlife sanctuary so if anyone can tell be the spieces I'd be grateful!
