Like the way you have captured the steam from the train in this painting.Reminds me of my childhood when we used to travel a lot by rail. ( I'm giving my age away !! ) Well done. Your sunflowers are lovely also.

This picture is based on an old photo of train bound for Withernsea arriving at Botanic Gardens station in Hull in the early 1950's. The station closed in the late 60's following the Beeching Report. I have modified the view with the trees on the left and added luggage on the platform. The colour is my interpretation but I hope represenative of the time. I have changed the station name too. Not one of my better works but I really enjoyed painting it!
