Th is lovely vibrant colourful painting, love the colours particularly the overriding green and the clear outlines of the figures and equipment, unfortunately jazz kills me! But this is still a lovely painting.

You have captured the stances so well, like the view point here too.

Hi Fred, missed your last one, which was great, like this one as well, wish I was as good as you with figures, your compositions are so realistic of life.

Thank you all for your great comments. Sorry Ros that you don't like jazz, I was brought up on it. I happen to think that it was the greatest musical creation of the 20th. century, glad you liked the the painting though.

Really super, Fred! Loads of atmosphere, and so very lively.

Excellent - those lovely saturated colours and excellent composition.

Thank you Seok and Gudrun.

This was a local jazz group led by Harry Bright who taught me to play saxophone, sadly no longer with us. This was a gig they played in Basingstoke shopping centre a few years ago. Watercolour and dip pen. 12x9
