Splendid! It just sums it up. There is a great soft feel to the colours - a saturated look I suppose. Isn't it good to have such a resource of images? I have a few too, though I went through a phase of just taking landscapes instead of interesting things like people and buildings!

This is absolutely superb, Fred! The painting tells a story and the expressions on the men's faces are beautifully done.

Lost for inspiration I dug out one of my old holiday photos from the eighties! This is a group of gentlemen watching a chess tournament in Horgarten Park in Innsbruck. Watercolour and dip pen.
