Beautiful painting, Fred. This is really "mixed media"!!! Love the lively scene with the figures in it. Gent is such a beautiful city. We often have a day-trip overthere (45 min. by train), just to walk around and admire all the sensational historical spots. You did very well on this!

This is from a pic I took a couple of years ago. It started out as a pen and ink wash, which I smudged. then I used acrylic to cover up the mess. I then carried on with watercolour and ended up with acrylic and pen again, so we have a right mish mash!
