Afternoon in Dunoon

Afternoon in Dunoon

I used to live opposite on the penisula ... You have caught that rare sunny day where this area looks absolutely beautiful.

Thakyou Gadrun, yes it is beautiful but it changes so quickly.

I visited Dunoon many years ago and don't really remember very much about it but your painting has made me think I ought to go again Fred. I love the main tree by the way the light and shadow on the trunk is super.

Great distribution of light and shade and a steady hand for the railings.

Thankyou all for your comments. It wasn't a steady hand Pat it was a steady ruler!!

Agree with Pat - love the contrast of darks and lights in this one, Fred. So much atmosphere and a lovely composition.

Thank you Seok.
