very lovely painting, you reallly get the feel for the place when you look at this painting :-)

I like it too Fred. Well done.....and I shall look up Jeremy Barlow because this type of image is right up my street.

This is the sort of scene that appeals to me too, Fred, and I love the sunshine and shadows in this. It has a real atmosphere of heat and summer.

I don't know the artist or the painting Fred, but I think this sings with sunshine.

I'm not familiar with the original, but like your treatment of this scene - acrylic freely employed, with attractive touches of watercolour technique: especially in the foliage of the tree on the right.

Lovely fresh treatment, Fred. A happy colourful scene

Thank you all so much for your positive comments, appreciated. Jeremy Barlow is a very prolific artist.I was told that he paints at least 200 paintings a year!

I like it a lot, Fred. I love the way your colors sing and the effect of the light filtering through the trees. You have infused the painting with your very recognizable style.

I too like it, lovely colours and lively scene

Thank you Seok and Glennis. I am flattered Seok that you think I have recognizable style, been trying for that a long time , thankyou.

This is full of with light and colour. Very well painted. I will have to look this Jeremy Barlow.

Thank you Pat. He is well worth a view.

Excellent work Fred, I have never seen the original painting you mention but I can say without a shadow of a doubt you will have done full justice to it here

This is a copy of an oil painting by the brilliant Jeremy Barlow. I wish I had painted it on a larger canvas. This is only 12x9in. Hope I have done it justice.
