Thanks guys, this is very traditional for me and not my usual colourful self, but I really enjoyed painting it after a week of visiting the Isles. It is on a large 50 x 40 inch canvas I bought very cheaply from a supermarket (believe it or not). Despite several coats of gesso it was flapping all over the place when wet so a lesson was learned when painting large works.
