I like that old lad.

I was so wrapped up in drawing this fella that it wasn't till he was nearly finished that I realised he looked like he had a walking stick. I think it suits him so it had to stay.

This caught my eye from the top gallery Fran. Lots of detail in this.

Thank you Adele. These are gorgeous animals, I love their expressions and I am fascinated with their 'hands and feet'.

A stunning piece, with beatifully rendered detail and to al work.

Thank you for your comment Seok Yam Chew.

Fran this is just beautiful. I use to live in the Lincolnshire fens and I had a watercourse running through my garden, I would sit and watch these little darlings from the bank for hours. Lovely work.

Thank you Fiona. That must have been wonderful having them on your doorstep. In most cases I have to rely on conservation projects and photographs for my reference, although they say these lovely creatures are now thriving again in this area I have yet to see one face to face (so to speak).

One of my favourite little critters - there's a river not so far from here where they live; you rarely see them, but as you're walking along the path you'll here the occasional 'plop' - and that's a watervole, diving into the water. Very skilfully drawn - your watervole looks as if he's contemplating the eternal verities; and perhaps he is.

Thank you for your comment Robert.
