That looks a lovely place to be Frank, very peaceful and serene. I like your use of gouache which I’ve also been getting to grips with recently. Do you use any mixing medium or just water?

Thanks Dennis and Tessa, I just add water to gouache and have a little atomiser close by for if starts to dry out on me.

I love the TV program New Life in the Wild. This is Jimmy’s B&B on this remote island which I think would be wonderful to stay there in the summer months. This is a bit looser than my original style of gouache painting and I’ve used thinner washes. Gouache on smooth. Cartridge paper 5x7in.
