Lovely, kinds like the yellow brick road

May have said this before, but it's extraordinary how many medical people take to painting on retirement, or even before - it's as if the creativity of their science just has to spill out into other directions. And I suspect their creative energy is just that much more extraordinary than that vouchsafed to most of us. Love your painting, sir, and would be as happy as I could conceivably be to submit to surgery at your hands, because you care about what you see. Which is not to say I'm in any hurry to put myself under the knife, you understand.
