This is beautiful. I've never yet managed to paint snowdrops to my satisfaction in watercolour but you have succeeded so well here, I'm envious!

Hi Carole Thanks for your quick reply to my painting. Love your flowers, this one would definately make a nice card for Christmas. The paintings are a beautiful style. Have you seen the work of Edith Holden in her Edwardian Diary, and I love the work of Marjorie Blamey, some of which I have copied. Yours remind me of such precision and detail.

Hello again Debbie, thank you. Yes I like both these artists, in fact I like all floral artist's work, the colours are so lovely. With this painting my idea was just snowdrops, but I decided to include much more colour, then it just took off ! As I rubbed masking off on one stem it ripped the paper, but I managed to camourflage it. Best regards Carole.
