Snap Carole, we were out buying plants yesterday as well, must have been the sunshine spurring us on. Beautiful and colourful primula and not only can you draw their crinkly leaves you can paint them as well. I'm dead jealous :)

Fancy seeing you two on here side by side, I've just been on AF talking about plants ! Love the glorious colours you've captured Carole and as Val said the crinkly leaves are super!

Thanks girls, the photo is a bit dark thanks to dreary weather, thought it was light enough on windowsill! should have used flash but not as accurate.

Lovely botanical studies Carole, they are such jolly little flowers and a delight to see on POL.

Like the composition of this little collection of studies.

What a lovely page full of colour - this is a really good study Carole. The yellow one in particular is so lifelike.

Thanks all for your kind words.

Lovely deep colours and beautifully drawn and painted Carole!

Such delicate, colourful little flowers. I'm sure they'll be the source of some beautiful paintings! Roll on Spring.

Lovely studies, Carole, and such a lovely palette! I hope Satu's snails are not roaming around looking for lunch!

More longings for Spring! A feast of lovely primulas to remind us that Spring is on the way.

Beautiful study Carole, gives you hope for the coming months!

Thank you very much for your generous comments.
