Pink Orchid

This is wonderful! I often find flower paintings a bit contrived, but you have very cleverly made the background and farthest away foliage so loose and interesting that there is nothing contrived about your painting. The background contrasts so well with the sharp detail of the orchids. The colours are wonderful. A really lovely painting.

Hi Carole...a little gem...well done I like what I see here...aerial perspective always works regardless of subject matter...[paler indistinct background...bolder mid-ground...boldest foreground etc.]
